Education is a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty in Uganda, especially in a slum community.

Our goal is to partner with parents and guardians to supplement the resources needed to provide quality education for their children. Rather than offering short term assistance, SONBT is dedicated to see that every child in the program completes their high school education. Graduation is our goal!

An invaluable aspect of the education program is the change of environment for these children. In the slums of Kampala, children face poor hygiene, exposure to drugs and alcohol, and risks of abuse. SONBT has purposefully partnered with boarding schools outside of the city where the environment is clean, spacious, and safe.
