The video above features one of the SONBT parents, Namugaya Olivia, (more commonly known as "Mama Emma"). Her and her two kids, Emma and Fatuma, have been a part of SONBT since 2018. Olivia was previously a hairdresser until the Covid pandemic came and she couldn't afford rent for her salon. She now works as a house maid to provide for herself and her family.
Olivia is so grateful that SONBT has been able to come alongside her and ensure that her kids receive a quality education in the midst of difficult circumstances. Her thanksgiving embodies the appreciation of all SONBT parents who have received a hand up in securing a brighter future for their children.
