Uganda's second major lockdown is slowly being lifted. Schools are still closed and the government will reevaluate opening them after 3 months. But with small gatherings now allowed, we are seizing the opportunity to disciple our kids and parents in the Bible.
As SONBT, we value Christian discipleship for multiple reasons. While we care deeply for the physical well being of our students and families, we care more so about the spiritual well being. As we strive to make a difference in the "here and now", our deeper hope is to make a difference eternally.
Therefore, we care about sharing the good news of Jesus with our students and parents who don't know Christ, while also striving to encourage and build up those who do.
We also believe that this makes a difference in the home environment of our families. As children and parents grow in their faith and obedience to God's Word, it will naturally produce more loving, forgiving, and peaceful relationships in the home.
Please continue to pray for our students and families as they come to know and grow in the love of Jesus!
