Enrolling New Students!

In January 2023 our goal is to add 5 new students to the SONBT Scholarship Program! Because we want to find the best fit for the program, we have created a thorough process for evaluating students and families. Our goal is to see students graduate from high school and the last thing we want to see is students who drop out along the way.

To make sure we reach our goals, we look for students who value education and parents who are dedicated to seeing their child succeed. For the students, we take into consideration their age, the past academic performance of the student, and their attitude towards education. And for parents, we consider their financial position, their availability, and their level of appreciation towards a scholarship opportunity.

Before making a commitment to parents, we invite them to be a part of our Bible studies and saving group so that we have the chance to get to know them and discern who will be a good fit. This may seem like a lot, but SONBT cares about seeking out families that we can walk alongside for the long haul.

This process enables us to be faithful with SONBT donations and gives us the joy of seeing students complete their educational goals!
